"Billie Holiday", the female seal who hauled out on the boat ramp during those frigid, but sunny days in December, is back after a five week absence. At that time, it was believed she might be pregnant; however, an analysis of photos taken today cannot verify that and it is more likely now that she is not. Billie looked a bit on the thin side with a possible wound to her flipper, but the discoloration on her coat could be due to other causes. She spent a number of hours basking and stretching in the sun this afternoon. Please check back for updates.
