A seemingly healthy seal pup luxuriated in some sunshine this afternoon on the platform off Alki Beach. The spotted pup was very alert and stretched and yawned repeatedly in the warm sun. Here he is shown “thermoregulating” his body temperature on the safety of the raft, unnoticed by most beachcombers.
